Three finishes, three uses

The smooth profile offers the most contemporary look — a flat surface, pleasant underfoot. Ideal in sheltered areas or where shoes are worn.

The grooved profile (lengthwise grooves) helps water run off and improves grip — recommended around swimming pools, in areas exposed to rain, or where children and older people use the deck. It meets slip resistance class R11 (DIN 51130).

The brushed S4S profile raises the grain and gives a matt, weathered look — the natural silver-grey patina develops more quickly.

Sizes and quality grades

Available sizes: 2.6 × 11.7 cm and 2.6 × 14 cm — standard lengths from 2 to 4 m.

NATUR grade: rustic look with a few visible knots, optimised for price. AB grade: premium visual selection, upper face virtually free of black knots. All in Thermo-D class (focused on biological durability, modified use class 3).

Installation and maintenance

Lay the boards with a 5 to 8 mm gap between them to allow for swelling and water drainage. On ventilated joists spaced 40 to 50 cm apart. A2 stainless steel fasteners (or A4 near the sea) — countersunk screws or hidden clips.

Maintenance: none required. To keep the original colour, apply a decking oil every 2 to 4 years. To restore the colour once the wood has greyed, a wood brightener is enough.

The grooved board improves grip — a must around a swimming pool. The smooth board offers the most contemporary look and greater barefoot comfort — ideal in a sheltered area.
Boards available in 2 m, 2.5 m, 3 m and 4 m. Choose the length closest to a multiple of the width of the deck. Allow an extra 10 % for cuts.
Yes, like any timber used outdoors. The silver-grey patina appears within 6 to 18 months. It can be reversed with a wood brightener and slowed down by a decking oil applied every 2 to 4 years.
About 20 to 25 A2 stainless steel screws per m². For 10 m², allow 200 to 250 screws of 5×60 or 5×70 mm. For hidden fixings, count 4 to 5 clips per m².
