What are rectangular profiles used for?
- Wall panelling frames — draw out geometric decorative panels.
- Dado — emphasise the lower part of your walls.
- Surrounds — doors, headboards, mirrors.
- Lines of light — LED strip integration.
A paintable material
Made of plaster, these profiles can be painted in the same shade as the wall for a clean finish, tone on tone or contrasting.
Fitting rectangular profiles
- Measure and cut the lengths and the angles (mitre).
- Bond in place with mounting adhesive on a sound, flat wall.
- Fill the joints with filler for a seamless effect.
- Paint once dry.
- Fit an LED strip if indirect lighting is wanted.
