For every visible joint inside the cabin: corners between panels, door or window surrounds, the transition between panelling and ceiling, skirting boards at floor level. They give a clean finish.
Alder remains the traditional choice and blends in with an all-alder sauna. Thermo pine is more dimensionally stable and suits a modern sauna. Thermo abachi brings a light, upmarket contrast.
Concealed screws on the hidden face (never on the visible surface), fine stainless steel pins, or a special high-temperature adhesive if the strip is very thin.
