Where to fit mosaic tiles in the kitchen?

Glass leads the selection, followed by porcelain stoneware, marble and metal/brass (Allumi collection: gold, silver, hexagon). Gloss and matt finishes.
Fitting a mosaic splashback
- Clean, flat substrate — degrease and fill any holes if needed.
- White C2 adhesive mortar, double-buttered (or an adhesive suited to wet areas).
- Lay the mesh-backed sheets 30 × 30 cm edge to edge, then bed them in with a float.
- Epoxy grout behind the sink and the hob for a watertight finish.
- Wash off the cement haze once dry.
