Architectural ornamentation
Architectural ornament covers the individual decorative elements that personalise a façade: rosettes (decorative wall medallions), balusters (repeating elements for a balustrade) and other sculpted motifs. All in EPS polystyrene + polyurethane coating.

Installation
Bonded with an special exterior adhesive sealant. For balusters, allow for evenly spaced installation with a top and bottom rail — and comply with the safety standards (handrail height, maximum spacing between balusters to stop a child passing through).

Rosettes are fitted on the spandrel panel (beneath the window), as a crowning feature above the front door, in the centre of a large wall area, or to mark the central axis of a symmetrical façade.
Under the French standard: 1 m minimum for a guard rail in a block of flats, 90 cm in a detached house. Spacing between balusters: 11 cm maximum (to stop a child passing through).
No — our balusters are purely decorative. A structural guard rail (with a safety function) requires a load-bearing structure (steel, reinforced concrete) which is then clad with the decorative balusters.
