Which species for which part of the cabin?
- Alder — bench cladding and skin-contact areas (resin-free, soft).
- Thermo pine — full wall cladding, premium diamond profile.
- Thermo abachi — benches (very low thermal conductivity) or light-toned contrast.
- Scandinavian spruce — economical wall cladding (grades AB or C).

Both are possible. Vertical = the more traditional option, and it helps condensation run downwards. Horizontal = attractive, but calls for particular care with condensation.
UTS / UTS+ = tongue-and-groove profiles for continuous cladding (thermo pine, abachi). SoftLine = softened edge with no sharp arris (alder, spruce). Bevelled = V-groove chamfer giving a subtle relief between boards.
Tongue-and-groove profiles interlock — no visible gap once fitted. Allow a 5 mm expansion gap around the perimeter and at the corners.
