Our cladding and facing range covers three major families of decorative elements: quoins (to emphasise the corners), rustication (dressed-stone effect), and 3D façade panels (modern relief). All in EPS polystyrene with a polyurethane render — a lightweight, cost-effective alternative to reconstituted stone.

Why fit quoins ?
Historically, quoining referred to the join between two walls built in ashlar (a stronger material), while the rest of the facade used less costly materials. Today, quoins in reconstituted stone or in EPS + PU are purely decorative, fixed to the corners to recreate that classical style.
Installation
Bonded with special exterior adhesive sealant, plus additional plug fixings for bulky pieces. Quoins are laid either flush (elements stacked in a straight column) or toothed (projection and setback alternating from one storey to the next).

Yes — today's corner quoins in EPS + PU or reconstituted stone are purely decorative. They imitate the structural ashlar quoins of older buildings.
Alignment = pieces stacked in a straight column — an understated, contemporary look. Toothing = alternating projections and setbacks — a traditional, livelier look.
Rustication is an ornamental projection on the surface of the façade that creates a play of light and shadow. It can cover an entire wall or be concentrated on the corners.
