Working out how many rolls you need
Standard size: width 53 cm × length 10.05 m = 5.33 m² per roll (before pattern matching).
For a wall of 4 m × 2.5 m (10 m²) with a straight match: 2 rolls. With an offset match: 3 rolls (15 % waste).
For a standard bedroom with 15 m² of walls: 3 rolls with a straight match, 4 rolls with an offset match.
Choosing your roll
- Non-woven 150 g/m² — paste the wall only, no soaking of the paper, quick to hang. Suits smooth walls.
- 340 g/m² vinyl — stands up to damp rooms and heavy traffic, sponge-washable. For hallways, kitchens and bathrooms outside the splash zone.
- Straight match — no offset between drops, simple calculation, less waste.
- Offset match — pattern staggered between drops (a more natural effect), allow an extra 10–15 % waste.
Hanging it in a few steps
Prepare the wall: smooth, clean and dry. Paste it with a roller using non-woven adhesive. Hang the drops edge to edge starting from a corner, and check the plumb with a line. Smooth them down with a brush or a soft squeegee to drive out air bubbles.
